Hei Hei!!!

Minä olen Pablo Chávez, minä olen Chilestä. Minä olen lähes kahdeksantoista vuotta. Minä olen syntynyt viides lokakuuta. Minä puhun espanjaa ja vähän englantia.

My hobbies

Well, since I was a little child I went to the music road. First I listened to funk, like red hot chilly peppers, and Chancho en Piedra (a band from Chile). But after a few years I was bored of that and one of my friends gave me an Iron Maiden’s CD and from this day I have liked “metal”. Well this music style took me to a higher level and I began to play the guitar, first playing covers of power metal bands, and after playing trash metal, I listen to classical music too. I think that you know that I love music, when I’m at school I’m only with these headphones, but you can’t imagine what it is to hear something always like if this was the first time… I like so much the music that even I sleep with music in my ears.

My other big hobby is to eat and cook. I’m always eating sweet things like chocolates and cakes.

I like to write poetry, maybe you don’t know, but in Chile we have two Nobel prizes: Pablo Neruda and Violeta Parra, they said that all Chileans are poets.  My last hobby is to go out at night with friends, talk, maybe dance with someone that I like.

My Chilean Family

I’ve left in Chile my best mother and father and brother that I never ever could have. My father is 48, my mother is 47 and my brother is 14, their names are Oscar, Juana and Cristian. This challenge has been hard for me, to be far away from my brother, I miss him to much. But I don’t want to be sad; then I have to think about other things.

Why have I chosen this country?

I said to someone that it was for winter sports, and northern lights, but it was for the pretty Finnish women.

My home

I lived in Laja, a small city (25,000 habitants) in the middle south of Chile. In my city there are two big rivers the Laja and Bio-Bio river. I lived in a house with two floors; I think it is a great house, but a little old, maybe it is 50 years. My most preferred place in my Chilean home was the computer room, because in this room there is this machine, and there is my electric guitar and amplifier.

My school

Well, in Chile the school starts at six years (but mothers can send theirs 4- or five-year-old children to some kind of pre-school). This basic education is for eight years and then we are in high school with four levels. Our school system is different than yours, all students of each class choose the same subjects, there are some elective subjects like science or geography (I think this is better to make friends; you can speak all day all hours with your best friends).

Mi nombre es Pablo Chávez y provengo de Chile. Tengo casi 18 años y me gusta demasiado tocar las seis cuerdas. Ahora escribiré una de mis frases preferidas:
